The Alachua County Library District partners with the Eighth Judicial Circuit Bar Association to present Law in the Library: Probate - What happens to your stuff when you die? Learn about estates and probate. Charles David, Esq., an attorney with Florida Probate Law Group, will explain how property and assets are handled upon death in Florida. Attorney David will describe Florida's homestead laws, intestate succession, and the use of trusts to avoid probate. He will cover inheritances, estate plans, heir's property and other issues concerning estates.
During Law in the Library presentations experienced attorneys and professionals share their knowledge on a variety of pertinent legal issues. These presentations are free and open to the public.
