The 4 day, Re-Entry Partnership Conference assists individuals with employment barriers get back into employment or start a small business. Contact the Resource Center at 334-0160 to register.
Each conference day will last from 10am - 12pm. Conference topics will include: employment and interview skills, resume writing, educational opportunities, and entrepreneurship basics. All participants who fully attend all 4 days of the conference will be eligible to receive a monthly bus pass or gas card. All participants will have access to employment related clothing and shoes, and receive a resume and a thumb drive.
The Re-entry Job and Resource Fair will occur at Library Headquarters on Tuesday, April 30th from 10am - 1pm.
The Library Partnership: A Neighborhood Resource Center, is a collaborative effort between the Alachua County Library District, Partnership for Strong Families, Department of Children and Families, and United Way of Central Florida. The center is designed as a one-stop resource for a variety of programs which included a full-service library branch. Approximately 30 different agencies provide programing on site.
