Gentle Carousel Miniature Therapy Horses will be coming to visit the Library Partnership! The focus of their visit will be to promote a new book where Magic the little hero horse is featured.
Carousel Miniature Horses bring joy and inspire all who come into contact with them. These horses have been trained as therapy animals and have traveled the country and world to bring solace and affection to those in need. Come spend the afternoon with these magical horses, hear their story and pose with these equine angels for a memorable photo.
Famous little hero horse Magic will be be part of the Reading Is Magic program presented. This award winning literacy program inspires young readers and “brings books to life.” Therapy horse Magic has a chapter in the new children’s book “The Dog in the Dentist Chair: And other true stories of animals who help, comfort, and love kids” by Peggy Frezon from Paraclete Press – 2019.
The program will also include a visit by Magic's new baby sister Luna on her first public appearance.

Gentle Carousel Miniature Therapy Horses is an award winning, all volunteer 501(c)(3) charity celebrating more than 20 years of service. The teams of therapy horses work with over 25,000 adults and children each year inside hospitals, hospice programs and with families who have experienced traumatic events.

The Library Partnership: A Neighborhood Resource Center, is a collaborative effort between the Alachua County Library District, Partnership for Strong Families, Department of Children and Families, and United Way of Central Florida. The center is designed as a one-stop resource for a variety of programs which included a full-service library branch. Approximately 30 different agencies provide programing on site.
