Join us at Headquarters Library to sew projects that can be used for gift giving for the holidays or for other occasions.
These are beginner projects, however you must either have previous sewing machine experience or have completed the SEWINGspace: Sewing Machine Intro class.
This class is offered twice a month this fall with the second class being a repeat of the first class. Please only sign up for one or the other Holiday Gifts class each month. Each month a new project will be presented. Materials will be provided.
August's project: learn how to sew a pillowcase
September's project: learn how to sew a bowl cozy
October's project: learn how to sew a quilted casserole hot pad
November's project: learn how to sew an infinity scarf
This class is for teens and adults.
Limit of 6 participants.
Please register to reserve your spot in the class. Likewise, please cancel your registration if you are unable to make it, because there is usually a waiting list. Unfortunately, if you are not there on time, your spot will be offered to someone else. We suggest that patrons on the wait list come in case any of the registered patrons do not show.
