Younger children are especially receptive to learning second languages.
Want to get your child started learning a second language? Try Curious Chinese, a class designed for young children to begin learning the basics of the Chinese language. Not only is a second language a valuable skill, Chinese is the most spoken language in the world according to Infoplease.
Curious Chinese class will be taught by Instructor Guilian, a native Chinese speaker, using a well reviewed curriculum. Guilian has two sons of her own and has experience teaching at the HuaGen Chinese school, in addition to her work as a scientist (Ph.D in Neuropathy and Physiology) at the University of Florida. She is looking forward to introducing children to a new language. Parents can attend this class with their children ages 3-10 on Saturdays from 4-5 pm at the Tower Road library.
