This longstanding group has much to share with seeds, plants and great presentations. Please come and meet with some outstanding local seed savers.
The High Springs Seedsavers group will be meeting on the second Thursday of the month, starting at 6:30 pm. If possible, bring snacks, and transplants or seeds from your garden to share. All meetings are free and open to the public. Bring along a friend or neighbor!
February 13th: Customized Potting Soil: We will discuss customized potting soil, seed starting mix, propagation mix and fertilization. The speaker is Linda Hart, nursery owner.
March 12: Integrative Pest Management Strategies that Work presented by Bob Hochmuth, Assistant Center Director for the UF/IFAS North Florida Research & Education Center - Suwannee Valley
April 9: "Ask Wendy" presented by Wendy Wilber. Wendy was an Alachua County Extension Agent who coordinated the Master Gardener Program for years before becoming the Florida Statewide Master Gardener Volunteer Program Coordinator. Well-known for her "Ask Wendy" column in the Gainesville Sun.

June 11th- Blueberries presented by Michael Robinson, of Deep Spring Farm in Alachua. Planting, fertilizing, and pruning tips.
