Learn more about the Korean Art collection at the Harn Museum during this curator's talk at the Millhopper Branch Library. This program is the new date (original date was January 3rd).
The Harn Museum of Art’s Asian collection totals over 3,000 works from different geographical regions of Asia. The Korean collection is the smallest in number (190), but has offered one of the greatest impacts towards scholarship, technical investigation, and collaborative projects.
The Korean collection at the Harn Museum was recently featured in UF’s Explore magazine, http://explore.research.ufl.edu/rekindling-korean-connections.html. Jason Steuber (Cofrin Curator of Asian Art) and Allysa B. Peyton (Assistant Curator of Asian Art) will discuss the museum’s collection of Korean art.
