Want to learn about the flavors and benefits of African heritage foods and exceptionally nutritious ways of eating? Sign up for this six-week class, A Taste of African Heritage.
Each week we will share a different prepared dish, cook a new recipe and discover the health benefits from these foods and recipes.
A Taste of African heritage brings people together to celebrate African heritage foods, provides tasty, easy-to-prepare recipes and helps families improve their diets to reduce the risks of chronic diseases such as diabetes, heart disease and obesity. Register in advance at https://attend.aclib.us/event/532289 or call (352) 334-0165 so we can prepare enough food and supplies for our weekly classes.
