Workshop offers one-on-one assistance to persons who have been convicted of a felony and are interested in applying to have their civil rights restored.
Attorneys from Josiah T. Walls Bar Association and law students from the University of Florida Levin College of Law will provide one-on-one assistance to persons who have been convicted of a felony and are interested in applying to have their civil rights restored. If civil rights are restored an applicant will have the right to vote, sit on a jury, and hold public office. Also, the attorneys will meet with people who are interested in having their records sealed or expunged.
