This is a unique and limited opportunity to participate in the assembly of a complex robot with the help of ASABE mentors.
Students from the University of Florida and members of ASABE (American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers) will lead the assembly of the Farmbot. Farmbot is a robotic gardening machine that you program to seed, water, weed, and care for a garden. This is a unique and limited opportunity to participate in the assembly of a complex robot with the help of ASABE mentors. We have a limited number of spaces for middle grade through high school students with an interest in robotics to participate on a team to assist with assembling the Farmbot.
We will begin this program at 10:30am. For attire, please wear comfortable clothing (that can get dirty). Also feel free to bring a bottle of water and some snacks for consumption while we're outside.
