Tweens check-out a good book!
Close your eyes and picture a simple little cafe setting. Fresh red checkered table cloths draped across the tables, wooden chairs tucked underneath. The table set with a vase filled with lovely flowers, electric candles all aglow, a menu with enticing selections, and a waiter waiting to take your request. Welcome to the Tween Book Tasting, an unusual book club.
Look over our menu to select books of various genres such as fantasy, mystery, and more to sample.
You will be offered 3 courses, a chance to sample three books. With each selection you will have the opportunity to look over the cover, read the flaps, and start the first few pages before moving on.
Tweens will have the option to share their thoughts on the book by filling out a survey. Or they can simply be there just to sample the books.
This book tasting welcomes Tweens, ages 10 to 14.
