Strong Kids Summer Program is designed for elementary age children from completed kindergarten to completed 5th grade.
Children in the Strong Kids Summer Program will have opportunities to engage in Math, Literacy, and other enrichment activities in an effort to help prevent summer time learning loss. Session 1 will last 4 weeks and Session 2 will last 3 weeks. Parents/Caregivers who are interested in signing their child(ren) up for the summer program will need to complete the Strong Kids Summer Program application and meet with Familiy Support Facilitator, Shandra Nichols. Space is limited.
The Library Partnership: A Neighborhood Resource Center, is a collaborative effort between the Alachua County Library District, Partnership for Strong Families, Department of Children and Families, and United Way of Central Florida. The center is designed as a one-stop resource for a variety of programs which included a full-service library branch. Approximately 30 different agencies provide programing on site.
