Gentle Carousel Miniature Therapy Horses' award winning literacy program Reading Is Magic inspires young readers and “brings books to life.”
Gentle Carousel Miniature Therapy Horses will be coming to visit the Library Partnership! The focus of their visit will be to promote their upcoming book about being different AND being friends.
Just because we are different doesn't mean we can't be friends. We just need to care about each other.
The special relationship between future therapy horse Mercury and his look-alike canine best friend Sirius has already captured hearts on television, social media and in newspapers and national magazines. Their new children's book will be published next year... but Mercury will bring a sneak preview to the library.
Mercury is the baby brother of world famous therapy horse Magic who will also be visiting the library. Magic was honored as one of the 10 Most Courageous Animals in History by Time Magazine, AARP’s Most Heroic Pet in America and is the only miniature horse to be inducted into the United States Equestrian Hall of Fame. She brings her love and healing to families across the country and has appeared on television and in books and magazines around the world.
Come to the Library Partnership and visit with the cutest and cuddliest friends ever!
