Are you new to computers or do you already have a basic knowledge of computers but would like to learn more? This is the class for you!
If you’re new to technology or just feel like you need a refresher on basic skills, this class is for you. This course will provide you with a solid introduction to computers and give you tips and tricks to help you effectively navigate your computer or laptop. Some skills you may learn are computer parts, the use of the mouse, and the keyboard. This class will also cover opening a program, using icons and the taskbar, and working with windows (minimize, maximize, and scroll).

Registration is required at least 12 hours before the event to guarantee admission.
Attendance is limited, so please include all attendees in your group as individual attendees or guests.
Check-in will start 15 minutes prior to the program’s start time.
If registered attendee and guests are not present 5 minutes prior to the start time, seats may be given away on a first come, first serve basis.
The Library Partnership: A Neighborhood Resource Center, is a collaborative effort between the Alachua County Library District, Partnership for Strong Families, Department of Children and Families, and United Way of Central Florida. The center is designed as a one-stop resource for a variety of programs which included a full-service library branch. Approximately 30 different agencies provide programing on site.
