Did you know that some plants make slime? Join the Designer Glycans research lab for an afternoon of science experiments to discover how seeds release mucilage, the goo-d stuff.

Children will learn how to pipette and visualize carbohydrate polymers from different plants including garden cress, flax and chia seeds.

The first 20 budding scientists to complete the provided hands-on activities will win prizes that sprout smiles.
