Turn vegetables into a colorful jar of art!

The Ferment Lady enjoys teaching parents and children that it is actually ok to play with their food... healthy, chemical free, dye free, living food that is.
In this workshop we will turn vegetables into a colorful jar of art, all while learning how to preserve a home garden or a local farm's seasonal abundance.
We will also be crafting a homemade soda, one that kids and their parents can get excited about making and drinking.
Who knew soda could actually be nutritious? It's possible through the fermentation process!
Each child will go home with a small jar of sauerkraut that we make together in class as well as the instructions on how to make their own homemade soda with natural, basic ingredients.
We will sample several flavors during the class.
