A Community Health Educator from Planned Parenthood will be presenting a workshop on Sexual Orientation and Gender.

Our objectives are to:

  • Learn what is assigned sex, gender identity, gender expression, and sexual orientation 
  • Define and summarize some common "gender norms" we see in society
  • Discuss the ways people are expected to be "heterosexual" and/or "cisgender"
