Kids have fun with musical instruments.
Kids can play with a variety of musical instruments in this "learn at your own pace" program. Instruments available include ukuleles, acoustic guitars, an electronic keyboard, tabletop drum pads, and a DJ controller. This is a self-guided opportunity with some staff guidance and other resources to help promote learning.
The Library Partnership: A Neighborhood Resource Center, is a collaborative effort between the Alachua County Library District, Partnership for Strong Families, Department of Children and Families, and United Way of Central Florida. The center is designed as a one-stop resource for a variety of programs which included a full-service library branch. Approximately 30 different agencies provide programing on site.
