Join us for an exciting morning of making! Decorate small cards using many mediums and techniques and then share, swap, or keep. We will provide the materials, you bring your creativity.
The artist trading card is said to have been born in 1997 in Switzerland when M. Vänçi Stirnemann of Zurich hosted the first swap. Since then this small art form has grown very large in popularity and many artists and crafters are embracing the concept. For this program, we will use larger cards which are better for children's hands. The ATC can be created in any medium and with any techniques that the artist wishes to use. Then you trade the card with other artists so you get a collection of different works of art.
