This special Story Time will feature books related to Black History Month.
Bring children to this special Story Time to learn about Black history and related topics. This program will highlight and celebrate diversity by honoring Black History Month and educating children about Black history, heritage, and culture. We will have a guest presenter reading books and leading activities this week.
What is Story Time? Well, it is a casual and fun way for children to develop early literacy skills. This week may be a bit different than usual. Generally, we will read three picture books and learn three signs in American Sign Language. In addition, we often sing and listen to songs and learn action rhymes.
Recommended for ages 2–5.
