Come join us as we learn about how chicken chicks are born, and witness for ourselves the incubation & hatching of the eggs!
Jesse Price, Program Coordinator for Alachua County 4-H, will give a brief presentation on the incubation process & hatching of chickens. Participants will then participate in an activity to reinforce what they’ve learned while Jesse puts the eggs in their incubator. For the next 21 days the incubator will be displayed in the Quiet Reading Room, where participants are welcome to watch the eggs incubate & eventually hatch!
