Room A, Room BMSWW herbology class coordinated by Hands On Gainesville with special guests from the Gainesville Orchid Society and the Santa Fe Zoo, and experts on Fungus, Bromeliads and other unusual plants.
Meet the survivors and the invaders! Why do bromeliads need roots? Are fungi friend or foe? Can plants eat animals and fungus? How can you tell if you are being invaded by an unwelcome amphibian? What is hiding in that seed? Join us to explore the magic and oddities of Nature with hands-on activities and demonstrations about determined organisms and how they survive! This fun science program will be great for everyone!
- Registration is required at least 12 hours before the event to guarantee admission.
- Attendance is limited, so please include all attendees in your group as individual attendees or guests.
- If registered attendee and guests are not present 5 minutes prior to the start time, seats may be given away on a first come, first serve basis.
