Lubee Bat Conservancy is a non-profit organization dedicated to saving bats and their habitats through research, conservation, and education, with a focus on children and community engagement. Their local and global conservation education programs connect children with nature, foster environmental stewardship, and inspire the next generation of conservation scientists to become leaders within their communities.

Visit with real, live bats and flying foxes from the Lubee Bat Conservancy! 

Learn how important they are for the environment. . .and how cute they are too!

About the branch

The Library Partnership: A Neighborhood Resource Center, is a collaborative effort between the Alachua County Library District, Partnership for Strong Families, Department of Children and Families, and United Way of Central Florida.  The center is designed as a one-stop resource for a variety of programs which included a full-service library branch.  Approximately 30 different agencies provide programing on site.
