Join Planned Parenthood of South, East, and North Florida as they teach us about self-esteem!
Come meet a community educator from Planned Parenthood of South, East, and North Florida and learn about self-esteem! Students will define self-esteem in their own words and understand the ways family, friends, and peers can have a positive or negative impact on relationships and self-esteem. Students will also identify situations that hurt and situations that build self-esteem. At the end of the lesson, students will also create their own "Self-esteem Shield" drawing pictures or words that represent the 3 key elements that build positive self-esteem.
