Learn the basics of making a model for 3D printing using Tinkercad, a free beginner-friendly tool for all ages. Computers provided.
Come to the HQ MakerSpace Room to start learning how to make your own designs to 3D print!
You will learn how to bring your creative ideas to life, from an idea in your head to a physical object you can hold in your hand, starting from scratch by making a digital 3D model, which can then be 3D printed. It's almost as easy as playing with blocks, but on a computer screen.
The class will be about an hour, and then in the second hour you can take your time to play around, experiment, and ask questions.
The 10 person registration limit is based on laptop availability. Each registered attendee may bring one guest if they are willing to share the laptop. You may also bring your own laptop if desired. Children should bring a grown-up guest.
