Learn how to make your kitten or cat happy, well-adjusted and more resilient with Chris

Learn how to make your kitten or cat happy, well-adjusted and more resilient. Reduce fear, anxiety and stress of triggers and vet appointments. Understand how to get your cat to want to go in their carrier and stay off counters!

Although the classes do build on one another, you are free to attend individual classes. Do not bring your kitten/cat to the library!

During the month, some things you will learn are how to:

  • Teach life skills and provide kittens or cats what they need to set them up for success for life
  • Recognize and prevent common behavior and health problems
  • Create strong bonds and improve human/animal relationships
  • Destress and prepare for veterinary trips and procedures
  • Set up the healthiest environment for your cat(s)

Topics by week:

Oct 2 - What cats need, how cats talk, introduction to training
Oct 16 - Environment, nail trims, medicating and weighing, play & training
Oct 23 - Destressing vet visits & handling, health & behavior problems
Oct 30 - Giving choice & building trust, more training,
