Kids can make their own personalized 1" or 3" buttons to pin to their shirts or backpacks!
At this MakerSpace program, kids will get an up-close look at how pinback buttons are made. They can even help with the process! We will have a large number of pre-selected images available to use for the buttons, but participants are also welcome to bring their own images. Once an image has been selected, it will need to be cut to size for a 1" or 3" button. Then it can be placed into one of our button press machines with the other parts of the button. Finally, we will permanently seal the button together!
Time permitting, each child will be allowed to create multiple custom buttons. Feel free to drop in anytime from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. to join the fun!
