A cinquain is a five-line poem.

Parents - bring your child to the Cone Park Branch Library to participate in a cinquain poetry contest! A prize will be awarded for the best cinquain poem and all of the poems will be displayed for all to read! Instructions will be given and a handout will be provided for guidance. What would your child like to write about - a pet, spring, the weather, a toy, a sport? This is an opportunity for self-expression and creativity. The contest will take place from 2:00 p.m.to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 18th.
