Open Studio time at the Hawthorne Branch allows patrons to work on creative projects at their own pace. A 3D printer, Cricut, and sewing machine are available for public use.
Open Studio is a non-structured time where patrons can come in to use the Makerspace and work on their own projects at their own pace. Open Studio is also the time to come into the space and submit 3D printing jobs. A 3D printer, Cricut, and sewing machine are available. The 3D printer can only be used with staff assistance.
Registration is not required, but use of the Makerspace is limited by capacity, so it is best to make a reservation to secure your place.
While, one-on-one instruction is not possible during Open Studio--some limited assistance with equipment may be available but is heavily dependent on the level of staffing and demand.
