Get help learning how to use the computer. This is for everyone from true beginners to those wanting help working out computer issue. Also answering patron’s questions while studying for the GED.

If you’re new to technology or just feel like you need a refresher on basic skills, drop-in for assistance. We will provide you with a solid introduction to computers and offer tips and tricks to help you effectively navigate your computer or laptop. Some skills you may learn are: computer hardware and software, the use of the mouse, and of the keyboard. Learn at your own pace in an informal setting. No experience required. Laptops are provided or you can bring your own.

If you are studying for the GED, we can provide access to databases and resources and aid in helping you understand specific test-based topics. For example, patrons can receive help with arithmetic and math concepts, understanding test passages, social studies and science concepts, using logic and reasoning, and drawing conclusions to aid in answering GED test questions.
