Basic Reading Practice for Everyone

Foundation RoomThis group is based around reading basic English texts in a group. We also build and practice new vocabulary words and grammar.
This group has no strict format or target audience. We spend the first half of the group generally practicing some new vocabulary, new grammatical concepts and pronunciation. The second half is devoted to reading a text. There is a book discussion component where we talk about authors that might interest beginner readers of English. All are welcome. Children and teenagers may also attend in the company of their guardians.

The Headquarters Library provides access to resources and services in the City of Gainesville and surrounding areas. It also serves as the headquarters of Alachua County Library District.
