Meeting Room

Come join us for a teen centered book club! We’ll meet once a month to discuss books read during the program, and each participant will receive a copy of the books to keep.

Registration Required

Fall Quarter’s Books:

Each of Us a Desert by Mark Oshiro

Bless the Blood: A Cancer Memoir by Walela Nehanda

The Chandler Legacies by Abdi Nazemian

A teen centered book club where the focus is on “own-voices” narratives, where authors write on subjects related to their own lives and identities. The book club will meet once a month where participants will receive a donated copy of the book we’re reading that month. A short book talk presentation will be given on the author, and discussion on the previous month’s book will take place.

This program is in partnership with The Lynx Watch, Inc. who kindly donated the copies of books used during the program.
