Junk Journal January is a hands-on creative workshop introducing participants to the art of making junk journals from a variety of new, recycled, and repurposed materials

Junk Journal January is a hands-on creative workshop introducing participants to the art of making junk journals from a variety of new, recycled, and repurposed materials. Participants will create the most basic elements of junk journals, pockets and tags they can use in their own unique journal using items such as paper scraps, envelopes, old book pages, magazines, decorative papers, ephemera, and other assorted materials. Participants will learn beginner-friendly techniques for folding, cutting, layering, and decorating their projects. No previous junk journaling experience is necessary. This relaxed, hands-on workshop is designed to introduce participants to the creative possibilities of junk journaling while creating pieces they can use in their own journals or save for future projects. Ages 5 and up are welcome.
