Open Studio at the Tower Road Branch Library allows patrons to submit print jobs for our 3D printer. The 3D printer is only available for public use with staff assistance.

Open Studio is a time when patrons can submit 3D printing jobs. The 3D printer is only available for public use with staff assistance. One-on-one instruction is not available during Open Studio.

At this time, registration is not required. Children must be accompanied by an adult to submit print jobs. 

Filament available is PLA and print time must be below 7-hours. Files must be a compatible file type (.3mf .stl .stp .step .amf .obj). Turnaround time is dependent on staff schedules and pick-up times may vary. Print jobs that are larger than 30g of filament require a library card in good standing and the printing fee must be paid at time of submission.
