US Parrots, North Florida's resource for parrot and bird information, will be bringing some of their favorite fine feathered friends to "show and tell" and possibly even some live performing.

Come learn some of the wrongs and rights of owning these sometimes challenging creatures and hear real life stories from experienced pet owners and breeders. You will have the opportunity to come up close and personal with both adult and baby parrots as well as snapping some pictures with these wonderful birds. For kids of all ages.

The Library Partnership: A Neighborhood Resource Center, is a collaborative effort between the Alachua County Library District, Partnership for Strong Families, Department of Children and Families, and United Way of Central Florida. The center is designed as a one-stop resource for a variety of programs which included a full-service library branch. Approximately 30 different agencies provide programing on site.
