Learn a second language with Transparent Language. We will explore the database and learn some basic Afrikaans in the process.

Using the database "Transparent Language" that you have access to through our library system, we will explore Afrikaans, the language of South Africa. Future sessions will explore other languages. This program is designed for teens and adults. Space is limited. Anyone on the wait list is welcome to come. You will get exposure to a new language and learn more about our database, but you may not have computer access during the program. It is recommended that patrons bring their library card with them for database access.
