Trained representatives of SHINE (Serving Health Insurance Needs of Elders) help in understanding the options of and how to file for Medicare.

SHINE (Serving Health Insurance Needs For Elders) is a free program offered by the Florida Department of Elder Affairs and the Local Area Agency on Aging. Specially trained volunteers can assist with Medicare, and health insurance by providing one-on-one counseling and information. They will be available at the Cone Park Library on the third Wednesday of each month from 12:30 to 3:00 P.M. www.floridashine.org
