Meditation is an ancient practice for calming the mind and discovering inner wisdom. We invite you to join us.

Meditation is an ancient practice for calming the mind and discovering inner wisdom. We will explore the classic techniques of mind-calming and insight for increased focus, calm, and inner understanding.


Chairs will be provided. You may bring a zafu or cushion if you prefer. Beginners and experienced meditators are welcome! 

Please join us in learning these special practices.

About the branch

The Library Partnership: A Neighborhood Resource Center, is a collaborative effort between the Alachua County Library District, Partnership for Strong Families, Department of Children and Families, and United Way of Central Florida.  The center is designed as a one-stop resource for a variety of programs which included a full-service library branch.  Approximately 30 different agencies provide programing on site.
