Smith, and to the historic Florida brought to vivid life for so many readers in his award winning novel A Land Remembered! Here is your opportunity to get to know the author and his extraordinary life experiences that enabled him to write with such authority on Florida pioneers, the Seminoles, migrant workers, “river rats” of Mississippi, the social injustices of the South, the Merchant Marines in World War II and the challenges of the present. With warm humor and his personalized narration, Rick takes us on a journey of Florida History, family memories, and fascinating stories about the author and the writing of his books.
