Recording Studio Session with Staff Assistance

Recording studio available for music production including instrument and vocal recording, arranging, editing, and mixing. Instrument lessons and pro audio tutorials available. Podcasting.

Equipment available: iMac desktop computer with Logic Pro X DAW, KRK Rokit 5 monitors x2, Audio-technica Ath-M30x monitoring headphones x1, Focusrite Scarlett 18i8 audio interface, Akai MPK261 61 key MIDI keyboard and drum pad controller. Rode NT1-A vocal condenser microphone with stand, shock mount, and popshield. Shure SM57 cardioid dynamic instrument microphone. Acoustically treated "live room."

Only one appointment at a time allowed per person/group.

About the branch

The Library Partnership: A Neighborhood Resource Center, is a collaborative effort between the Alachua County Library District, Partnership for Strong Families, Department of Children and Families, and United Way of Central Florida.  The center is designed as a one-stop resource for a variety of programs which included a full-service library branch.  Approximately 30 different agencies provide programing on site.
