Health care professionals will be presenting various health solutions that plague the African American community.
Come hear a variety of presenters and health care workers about health concerns of African Americans and Indigenous People, including alternative and holistic health services.
Facilitated by Dr. Padma K.A. Shakoor D.A.O.M., one of the hosts of Muzik & Medicine: Live and Direct on WMBT 90.1 FM.
Areas will be represented by a mental health counselor, a licensed therapist, an acupuncturist, a Reiki practitioner, an energetic healer and a psychologist. Topics such as eastern, western and holistic medicine, yoga, Tai chi, meditation, and Qigong will also be discussed. There will also be a interactive aspect to the program.

The Library Partnership: A Neighborhood Resource Center, is a collaborative effort between the Alachua County Library District, Partnership for Strong Families, Department of Children and Families, and United Way of Central Florida. The center is designed as a one-stop resource for a variety of programs which included a full-service library branch. Approximately 30 different agencies provide programing on site.
