Join us for an introduction to sewing and quilting. We will be creating a quilted coaster to learn sewing machines, and then creating miniature art quilts.
During the month of March we will be participating in the 2020 Quilt Trail, and creating our own miniature quilts!
March 5 will be an introduction to sewing machines. We will be creating quilted coasters and learning the basics of machine sewing.
March 12, 19, and 26 we will focus on creating miniature art quilts. We will create patterns for the quilts, cut pieces, and assemble them with both sewing machines and hand sewing techniques.
The Cone Park Branch is a collaborative effort between the Library and Partnership for Strong Families. It serves as a resource center and a library, providing access to resources and services in East Gainesville and surrounding areas.
