#Black Hair Matters

2020 Black History Month Program-Cone Park Branch

The discussion about Black hair is as varied, robust, spiritual, intimate, communal and diverse as the people it represents.  The topic has implications not just in the physical realm, but also in the spiritual, cultural, historical and political dynamics of the everyday lives of people of African and African Diaspora heritage.  Join us at the Cone Park Branch as we visit and explore this exciting and immensely popular topic.

Mondays Feb. 3, 10 and 24 5:30 p.m. and March 2 4:30 p.m., Cone Park Branch, ages 19 and up
