Get your gears running and join us in our Family Invention Lab! Come learn some basic coding and engineering that’s suitable for the whole family.
Join us either the 2nd or the 4th Sunday during June, July, and August where kids and their grown-ups can work together using science and engineering to learn and become an inventor. Each month the same program will be held twice, so you only need to sign up for one!
June: Animal Engineering
What can humans learn from animal adaptations? How can we rebuild these adaptations for us to use?
July: Storytelling with Color
Color is a fantastic visual aid - how can you use color to tell a story? Mark a trail? Give signals?
August: Is It Conductive?
Electricity is the cornerstone of electronics and computing - Can we build a game with conductive materials?
Social distancing is encouraged. Registration is required per person entering room, and space is limited. If the full party is not registered individually, they may not be able to enter. If any registered person is not present 5 minutes prior to program start, their spot may be given away to someone waiting.
