AARP Tax-Aide volunteers provide free income tax preparation.

IRS-Certified AARP Foundation Tax-Aide Volunteers provide free income tax preparation for people with low and moderate income with special attention to those age 60 and older. Tax-Aide will be January 31 - April 18.

Tax preparation services are by appointment only. No walk-ins will be accepted. After January 26, you can schedule an appointment online by visiting http://taxaidegnv.wordpress.com. Starting January 31, you can also schedule an appointment in person at Tax-Aide locations, during Tax-Aide hours. 

Only one tax return will be done during a one hour appointment.

About the branch

The Library Partnership: A Neighborhood Resource Center, is a collaborative effort between the Alachua County Library District, Partnership for Strong Families, Department of Children and Families, and United Way of Central Florida.  The center is designed as a one-stop resource for a variety of programs which included a full-service library branch.  Approximately 30 different agencies provide programing on site.
