Program for teens where we watch and discuss anime, manga, and Japanese culture.

Program for teens held in the Cone Park meeting room. We will be watching anime movies and shows, encouraging the reading and discussion of manga, and deepening their appreciation of another culture. There will be an emphasis put on reading manga to go along with the shows and movies they love. Learning the rules of games related to anime. Getting a better understanding of Japanese culture and language.

  • Registration is required at least 12 hours before the event to guarantee
    admission.
  • Attendance is limited, so please include all attendees in your group as individual
    attendees or guests.
  • Check-in will start 15 minutes prior to the program’s start time.
  • If registered attendee and guests are not present 5 minutes prior to the start
    time, seats may be given away on a first come, first serve basis.

The Cone Park Branch is a collaborative effort between the Library and Partnership for Strong Families.  It serves as a resource center and a library, providing access to resources and services in East Gainesville and surrounding areas.
