Are you somewhat comfortable with getting on a computer, but you need to know more about email, browsing the Internet, or searching for information online? Some computer experience required. Limit 12

Search engine clip artNow that you have a basic understanding of computers and you know how to use a mouse, wouldn't you like to learn more about email, browsing the Internet, and/or searching for information online? If you’re relatively new to technology or just feel like you need a refresher on basic skills, this class is for you. This class will provide you with an introduction to email, Internet browsing, and searching, and give you tips and tricks to help you effectively navigate the World Wide Web. 

·       Some experience required – (must be able to use a computer mouse.)

·       Informal setting

·       Learn at own pace

·       Laptops provided or you can bring your own

 Registration is required at least 12 hours before the event to guarantee admission.
 Attendance is limited, so please include all attendees in your group as individual attendees or guests.
 Check-in will start 15 minutes prior to the program’s start time.
 If registered attendee and guests are not present 5 minutes prior to the start time, seats may be given away on a first come, first serve basis.

About the branch

The Library Partnership: A Neighborhood Resource Center, is a collaborative effort between the Alachua County Library District, Partnership for Strong Families, Department of Children and Families, and United Way of Central Florida.  The center is designed as a one-stop resource for a variety of programs which included a full-service library branch.  Approximately 30 different agencies provide programing on site.
