Identity theft affects about 5% of Americans every year and can be a terrifying experience. In this workshop, we’ll discuss ways to reduce your risk of identity theft on the Internet. We’ll also discuss how to improve your privacy on the Internet by understanding how websites and advertisers track you, what cookies are and what to do about them, and how to make efforts to remove your private information from the Internet.
