Join staff for a biweekly sewing circle and learn the basic skills which will allow you to create just about anything. Pick a beginner’s project or design your own!

Pick up needle and thread or sit down at a machine and learn the basic skills required for any sewing project! Bring some mending, work on a project presented by staff, or make your own bespoke pattern with staff assistance. Whether you're an old hat at sewing or you've never so much as sewn a button back on, come learn to make something new!

About the branch

The Library Partnership: A Neighborhood Resource Center, is a collaborative effort between the Alachua County Library District, Partnership for Strong Families, Department of Children and Families, and United Way of Central Florida.  The center is designed as a one-stop resource for a variety of programs which included a full-service library branch.  Approximately 30 different agencies provide programing on site.
