Story Time on the Green

Children can listen to nature-themed stories in an outdoor social setting, weather permitting. This program takes place at Lois Forte Park.

Every Tuesday at Lois Forte Park in Newberry, library staff will read stories and lead activities geared toward 2- through 5-year-olds. Attendees are welcome to bring chairs or blankets to sit on.

Please note: In the case of rain or extreme temperatures (above 85° or below 45°), this program will take place indoors, in the Meeting Room of the Newberry Branch Library. You can call the library after 10:00am at 352-472-1135 if you want to check on the location.
